The Open-air Water Power Museum in Dimitsana (15 min – 13 km)

The Open-air Water Power Museum in Dimitsana is a thematic museum that highlights the importance of water in traditional society, presenting the basic pre-industrial techniques for use of water as a major source of energy for the production of various products.

It is an area of about one square kilometer, in which, during the pre-industrial time, a large craft complex was operating that had as its driving force the water of the homonymous spring in the well-known location Kefalari of Ai Gianni (Wellspring of John the Baptist).
